The Spotify integration in Shazam gives you the power to:
- Keep track of your Shazamed songs by automatically adding them to your personal “My Shazam Tracks” playlist in Spotify
- Play full audio tracks in Shazam
- Easily add any song that you see in Shazam to any of your Spotify playlists
A paid subscription to Spotify Premium is required to use Spotify with Shazam.

For iOS, the iOS SDK was used to integrate playback and manage playlists. On Android, the Android SDK was used for playback and the Web API was used to manage playlists.
